Melbourne just keeps getting better!

This is an adorable vintage camper at a "Caravan" show on the south bank. They were all retro and just so cute

Did someone say dessert at the Lindt Cafe? Check out that little pot of hot chocolate to pour on the cake and vanilla ice cream.

St.Patrick's Cathedral across from Federation Square.

Having trouble with the blogger site with the sizing of the pics. Stand by for changes...

These are some amazing aboriginal paintings at the museum.

The beach on the Great Ocean Road trip by bus.

Posing at a stop on the Great Ocean Road. Mimicking.

One of our most memorable bus mates of all times. She loved posing for her picture.

Our bust driver Richard. The funniest thing on the trip was when Richard pulled the bus out and a woman from the back of the bus came forward and said in the MOST polite English accent, "Excuse me Richard but your've gone and left my husband." Richard replied, "That's impossible because I haven't left yet."  He pulled the bus around the corner and around the bloack and there was her husband!

They call this one London Bridge but in 1990, part of the bridge collapsed with two people stranded on the outer piece.

These are called the twelve apostles but there are only seven.

  1. WOWZA, those ocean photos are amazing, especially the 12 Apostles. The grandeur is out of this world. I love the story of the lady who thought her husband had been left behind...you meet all kinds, don't you! I am sure you could write a book after this trip. Love and miss you!

  2. So true! The bus trip was quite the experience! Great pics of the coast--glad you were able to see that. I liked the St. Kilda spots, too.
