Melbourne-so so great!

This is the Memorial Service we attended at the memorial. WE chatted with this gentleman following the ceremony. It was very moving.  We ended our visit there with a tour from Ann and Claude. They were fantastic.

These are some signs from Latrobe's cottage. He was an early leader in Victoria from England. He came with his wife and four children and this house which was built in England, taken down and folded up and brought in the hull of the sailing ship. It is the first pre-fab house in Victoria!

  1. The memorial garden to honor the women who served in the war is very fitting.
    It looks like the city has a lot to offer and many ethnic offerings of food. Sounds like your location is a perfect launching point for your travels around the city.

  2. Glad you have internet connections! I love the flower garden and the Monthly remembrance ceremony. If I taught there I think I would take my kids there at least once during the school year. Guess what? It is snowing here again! 3-5 inches tonight! Enjoy your time away! Soak up some sunshine for us!
