Interlaken and Lautenbrunner, Switzerland

Fondue - great memories of many Christmas Eve's in Kenosha.

This river runs along the city of Interlaken.

Ice skating maze with a view from an 18 story hotel.

Our hotel, The Continental Central.
It was a very interesting old place with a great location to the train station.

Flowers blooming in December on a beautiful sunny day.

More views of Interlaken from the 18th floor of the hotel.

Lautenbrunnen - We stayed here three nights.

The main street and views from the train.

Three gondola rides and a train to get up this high.

Just breath  taking views.

Christmas Eve Dinner in a Swiss restaurant. Check out that boot of beer - 1 liter!

  1. Did you drink the whole liter? Your photos of the mountains are stunning. Were you looking for the von Trapp family? Your photos are stunning. I especially like the ice skating rink -- they sure do it up right. Enjoy every second. Merry Christmas. Much love.

  2. Your photography is exquisite, Gramsy! Love the mountain vistas and the ice rink! The river shots are also great. What cute towns you guys are visiting. I love the pics of you two drinking brewskies out of boots. Perfect Christmas fun!

  3. I felt like singing the Sound of Music, too when I looked at these! The ice rink looked cool, too. More fun than a corn maze!:)
