Paddington Market, Saturday, Feb.1

We have pretty much mastered this underground train transportation

The ferry boats too.

This is a boys public grammar school. They all just returned to school for the beginning of a new school year after their summer vacation.

Paddington Market was full of handmade clothing, jewlery, and art works.  It is located at a grammar school and church.

This is the Anzac Memorial and reflecting pool in Hyde Park.

This is a sign posting the core values of the school out on the playground at the grammar school.

We had lunch at the Rock at the Lowenbrau Keller where they had live German music. The place was jumpin' and nice and cool in the basement.

After lunch we went to see 12 Year A Slave. I can't say it was enjoyable. What I can say is that it is a story that needed to be told.  Masterfully done.

More Australian trivia:  They sell beer, wine AND champagne at the movie theaters.

Malteaser makes a Easter bunny made of  chocolate malted milk.  Abby, You would love it.

Another funny sign to indicate pedestrain walk way.  They stop on a dime for pedestrians!

  1. Hello from Santa Fe! Weather is cold with blue sky and sunshine! Went walking today to check out my neighborhood...full of restaurants, bars, Farmer's Market, Railroad Station. Perfect setting for me!! So happy! Love and miss you!

  2. Those movie theaters sound like lovely palaces! Glad you have been able to get out and see some of the Oscar contenders. The market looked like fun!
