Kauai for three weeks!

We arrived on Kauai on Sunday, February 4 after 13 days in Honolulu. It was pouring rain when we picked up our rental car and drove to the Kauai Shores Hotel. We spent our first of 21 nights in an “Oceanfront” room which was NOT that, unless you hung over the balcony to see the ocean. The following day we moved into a second floor room where we can view the ocean from a distance with ouy handing over the balcony. The location of the hotel is great- on the east side of the island and between Kapa’a and Lihue.
