Government House, Foodie Rocks, Oldest Bar in Sydney, Chinese Market, More Fireworks, and the Cook and Phillips Park Pool - Days 22 and 23 in Sydney

Look who got a new Aussie hat! Pretty dapper mate.

This castle was built in the early 1800's for the governor of New South Wales. The governors have all lived in this house, even today! It really is a beautiful castle that feels like a home.

A beer at the oldest pub in Sydney, located in the Rocks. It was the perfect way to quench the thirst on a hot afternoon.

A brilliant shop of just buttons. Amazing selection.

A side street in Chinatown.

Friday night Chinatown market. Very busy.

Chinatown market has food and Chinese type gifts and lots of do-dads.

More fireworks for the Chinese New Year. They are still celebrating!

These fireworks were set to songs of love to commemorate February, the month of love. The first song was an Elvis Presley and the second number played along with the fireworks was Michael Jackson, circa 1970.

Large inflatables for the Chinese New Year at Darling Harbor.

The beautiful pool at the Cook and Phillip Park across the street from Hyde Park and next to St. Mary's Cathedral. I loved it.

Pools for soaking and kids.

Beautiful murals on the pool walls depicting the famous Australian professional swimmer Annette Kellerman (1886-1975) who became a vaudeville and movie star in the U.S.A.

The outdoor patio at the pool.

Dumpling demand requires more people on the dumpling making line!
