This is a sign on fence of a grammar school on the West End of Brisbane.
A Jack Fruit, something we have never see or tried.
Inside of the fruit. Still have not tried it!
The pool(s) at the South Bank. Clorinated and filtered, clean and warm!
More of the pool area, about a block long
Great sign for produce and flowers.

I met the woman, Katie B who designed these clothes. I bought TWO of her dresses. They are amazing and as they say in Australia "lovely." She had a small booth at a market on the West End. She is planning to market her designs in the U. S. A. Check out her website. Her mother is 90 years old and married an American G. I. Her mother has been to Wisconsin a number of times in her life.
Gret food here. Just kitty corner from our apartment.
Views from our apartment. The building in the foreground is the restaurant.
Another view from our balcony.
Happy Birthday to Mr.Tom from Jim and me! Tell him we are oh so glad he was born!
ReplyDeleteThe Jack Fruit looks squashy on the inside to me. Is it sweet? What is up with all those bumps n the outside?
That pool looks amazing! I suppose you will always remember this birthday, Tom. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the quote on the elementary school sign!

Try the jack fruit...I have eaten it in Brazil and it tastes like candy...like pure sugar.
