Sunset

Beautiful city and Diamond Head views

We have had Covid and are recuperating.  Feels like a bad cold and flu with achy joints and fatigue. We have a great place to rest with cool breezes and great views.

Another day with beautiful weather and enjoying Hawaii

Last year this was a big tent city of homeless. They are now putting up a container unit park for the homeless. Hawaii has the highest rate of homeless per capita of the U. S.

Here are techno savyees at the Apple Store. We walked with an update iPad and case with a keypad. Now for the tutorial.

These were photos from 2018 when we came back from our Hawaii trip. Aren’t they just so precious?

These first two pictures are of “John” Dennis DeNoble. His father was a brother to my dad’s father, Joseph DeNoble sr. He is buried at the National cemetery  in Honolulu’s Punch Bowl.

We plan to go to his grave. We have been there before but did not know where his grave was. Now we do.

A special Italian margarita and a strawberry lemoncello margarita. Way too sweet for us.

Here is where we are staying this year. We stayed here in 2018. The common areas are all upgraded and the pool and roof top are very cool.

So many wonderful talented people

Days fly by and at the end of the day
it is hard to remember what we. When my sister asked if I had gotten a grass skirt yet, I showed this picture of me with my Hawaiian pjs still wearing then until 1:00 pm.

We have been in the ocean, in the rooftop pool, and out for happy hour at Tiki’s on the beach for margaritas and pupus.

We saw a wonderful Two person concert, one playing the ukulele and dancing in the other, playing the electric guitar the woman doing the hula
