Travel home with a stop I’m Kenosha
Big snow storm in Green Bay and Door County with 30 inches of snow in 2 days. We were not able to get home so we stayed two nights in Kenosha and saw lots of friends, Leah and Jerry Mullane, Mary Wagner, Rich and Sharon Regner,, and Sue and Lou Covelli. Lots of fun!
Waco, Texas on the way home
We went to see the “Fixer Upper” Magnolia Farms store, restaurant, and
bakery. It is was a fun overnight with lots to see. We took a 2 1/2 hour tour that gave us the history of Waco, the tornado in 1953 which flattened most of the city, and the rebirth of the city including the influence of Chip and Joanna Gaines from the HGTV show “Fixer Upper “.
The day we left Waco, they had a tornado. Yipes.
